The case has become a hot topic for debates around the country between people.

The Supreme Court of India has constituted a “Special Investigation Team(SIT)” for the purpose of reviewing the functions of the Vantara. The Investigation is overseen by Justice Jasti Chelameswar for the fairness and transparency of the investigation. The investigation focuses on: –
1. The Vantara Sanctuary following the Indian and International animal welfare standards or not.
2. The Vantara Sanctuary takes all the steps according to the wildlife and environment laws.
3. The last and most important which has been demanded by the activist is the transparency of its financial and administrative operations stating that the private conservation project should be held to the same standards of accountability as public institutions.
