INSIGHTS FROM LIFE

The Judge came back to his life and he said that “ I was an outstanding student, but skipped classes. He always skipped classes  with his friends in Government Law College.  He also mentioned that he doesn’t follow any particular pattern in study or something. He always used several guides, solved papers but his dedication and hardwork everything led to secure third rank in university. This clearly defines that not only high marks or ranks is the final word of success. He also remembered his father Late R S Gavai in between his speech, he was the founder of the Republican Party of India (Gavai), was chairman of the Maharashtra legislative council from 1978 to 1982. He later became the Governor of Bihar, Sikkim and Kerala.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE MESSAGE

He pointed out that during his tenure in Bombay High Court when he listened to the arguments of the students, he would  sometimes feel  that  lawyers  of the High Court must  attend the moot courts and made to learn from the young lawyers how to argue in the court. Also he empathically mentioned that many junior lawyers who have potential and are ready to work hard leave this law field due to the low payment. Every senior lawyer and association must ensure decent pay to the juniors.

CONCLUSION

The Judge finally concluded the speech  by  saying that a high proportion of  law students are enrolled in the colleges and universities across the country and they face challenges in infrastructure, faculty quality and curriculum design.
